OUR PROCESS

INNOVATION

Launching Girder is also known as Launching Gantry. A launching girder usually consists of main trusses (“girders”) and lifting devices that would move horizontally along the trusses while suspending/lifting the precast beam, bridge segments and/or working platforms for assembling.

TECHNOLOGY

The segment geometry and materials are defined according to the work geometry layout. As each work is unique, so are its segment and mould. The mould being entirely dependent on the segment geometry, its engineering can only be made according to the segment concrete design.

HEART

A superstructure is an upward extension of an existing structure above a baseline. This term is applied to various kinds of physical structures such as buildings, bridges, or ships having the degree of freedom zero.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

INTRODUCTION TO CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Civil construction falls in the category of civil engineering which is all about designing, constructing and maintaining the physical and naturally built environment. Civil construction is the art of building bridges, dams, roads, airports, canals, and buildings.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Civil engineering is the oldest disciplines of engineering. Since the very beginning of the human existence, it has been the aspect of life. One of the main aspects of civil construction is structural engineering. It helps in designing the structure in a way that it is able to support itself successfully along with resisting loads. The stability of the design will serve as the foundation of civil construction.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION STAGES

Classifying large projects into civil construction stages has always been anticipated whether it is for independent or conjunction construction. To escalate the progress of the civil construction, every stage of the process is taken as individual contracts. All of the contracts are continued in special patterns and schedules. To maintain the quality of work in the construction process, the duration of every stage should be analyzed and evaluated before the process starts.

ROAD BRIDGE

ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Construction of roads involves the paving, rehabilitation, and/or reclamation of degraded pavements in order to achieve a state of good repair and increase road traffic safety. Road construction involves the use of asphalt, liquid asphalt, concrete, soil stabilization, rebar, paving and pavement recycling machines, and other road repair materials.

ROAD BRIDGE

Highway bridges deteriorate in proportion to the number and weight of the vehicles that pass over them and in proportion with their exposure to deleterious items in the environment, such as road salts.

RESEARCH NEEDS FOR HIGHWAY BRIDGES

Highway bridges have been designed and built since the advent of the wagon, and the general structure types used and described in this chapter are not likely to change. That being said, there are areas where these structure types can be improved—hence the need for future research.

CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDING

CONSTRUCTION BUILDING

Construction, also called building construction, the techniques and industry involved in the assembly and erection of structures, primarily those used to provide shelter. Construction is an ancient human activity. It began with the purely functional need for a controlled environment to moderate the effects of climate. Constructed shelters were one means by which human beings were able to adapt themselves to a wide variety of climates and become a global species.

ARCHITECTURE AND BUILDING

Human shelters were at first very simple and perhaps lasted only a few days or months. Over time, however, even temporary structures evolved into such highly refined forms as the igloo. Gradually more durable structures began to appear, particularly after the advent of agriculture, when people began to stay in one place for long periods.

THE HISTORY OF CONSTRUCTION

The hunter-gatherers of the late Stone Age, who moved about a wide area in search of food, built the earliest temporary shelters that appear in the archaeological record. Excavations at a number of sites in Europe dated to before 12,000 BCE show circular rings of stones that are believed to have formed part of such shelters.

ELECTRIFICATION

ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEMS

Electrification is the process of powering by electricity and, in many contexts, the introduction of such power by changing over from an earlier power source. The broad meaning of the term, such as in the history of technology, economic history, and economic development, usually applies to a region or national economy.

FUTURE OF POWER

Electrification refers to the process of replacing technologies that use fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas) with technologies that use electricity as a source of energy. Depending on the resources used to generate electricity, electrification can potentially reduce carbon dioxide (COz) emissions from the transportation, building, and industrial sectors, which account for 63 percent of all US greenhouse gas emissions.

REDUCE EMISSIONS

50 percent of electricity is currently generated using zero- or low-carbon fuels (36 percent is from nuclear energy and renewables, and 35 percent is from natural gas, which emits the least carbon dioxide of any fossil fuel when burned). Consequently, technologies that use electricity as a fuel source result in lower carbon dioxide emissions on average than those that use fossil fuels directly.

Additionally, the electricity grid is expected to become even cleaner over time as many state policies (such as Renewable Portfolio Standards) aim to increase the amount of electricity generated by renewable sources.

HOSPITAL BUILDING

OVERVIEW

Hospitals are the most complex of building types. Each hospital is comprised of a wide range of services and functional units. These include diagnostic and treatment functions, such as clinical laboratories, imaging, emergency rooms, and surgery: hospitality functions, such as food service and housekeeping.

STATUS OF THE ORGANIZATION

In addition to the wide range of services that must be accommodated, hospitals must serve and support many different users and stakeholders. Ideally, the design process incorporates direct input from the owner and from key hospital staff early on in the process.

THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT

Hospital patients are often fearful and confused and these feelings may impede recovery. Every effort should be made to make the hospital stay as unthreatening, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. The interior designer plays a major role in this effort to create a therapeutic environment. A hospital’s interior design should be based on a comprehensive understanding of the facility’s mission and its patient profile.

FIBER ELECTRIC WORK

INSTALLING FIBER-OPTIC CABLE

On the outside, fiber-optic cable may look similar to copper-wire cable, but what lies beneath the sheath is very different. As cabling installers are increasingly called upon to put in fiber backbones-and even fiber to the desk-it becomes essential that they understand this difference between copper and glass, and develop appropriate installation procedures for each medium.

OPTICAL-FIBER CABLE

There are many aspects of optical-fiber cable installation that could be examined, but two of the most important from a practical standpoint are general guidelines for installation in the building spaces most commonly associated with premises wiring- horizontal runs, runs above ceilings and below floors, runs in cable trays, riser runs-and specific procedural hints that apply to most or all optical-fiber cable pulls-jacket removal, handling core components, fiber stripping and using breakout kits.

GENERAL CABLING GUIDELINES

In whatever space your optical-fiber cable is being installed, there are some basic guidelines that must be followed. Support the cable and avoid crushing, stressing and overbending it. Every cable will have values for minimum bend radius and maximum tensile loading; do not exceed these values. Cables should never be allowed to hang freely for long distances or to press against edges in an installation.
